Bake time 10-12 minutes on 350 degrees
makes: makes 1 dozen
Ingredients:
1/2c. granulated sugar
1/2c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/3c. Crisco
1/3c. brown butter ( Melt 1/3c. of butter in a saucepan until it becomes a brown nutty texture and it smells just divine)!
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Cream the sugars, Crisco, brown butter and vanilla together well. Then add the dry ingredients that consists of:
1/2tsp. baking soda
1/4tsp. salt
1 1/2c. A.P. flour
1 tbsp. cornstarch
Add the chocolate chips and graham wafers into the cookie dough mixture.
3/4c. chocolate chips or chunks
1/2c. chopped up graham wafer crackers
1/3c. minis marshmallows
Use your medium cookie scoop and place the cookie dough onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
Take a mini marshmallows cut them in half and stick 2-3 pieces of them on each of the cookies.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes or until the bottoms of the cookies start to brown.
Topping
1/2c. chocolate chips
1 tsp. coconut oil
Take them out to cool, when they are completely cooled, melt 1/2c. chocolate chips with 1 tsp. coconut oil . (I use the microwave).
The drizzle the melted chocolate over top of the cookies adding a light sprinkling of course sea salt.
Made these for my daughter who is a very hard working student at university. Nothing like a little something from home to help with those heavy homework nights. I know she is a fan of chocolate and marshmallows !
