"Exploring the Vibrant Flavors and Local Delights at the Farmers Market"

Updated: Sep 28, 2024

It's a lovely Saturday morning for a visit to the Farmer's Market, and one of our top choices is St. Pete's Market. The atmosphere is lively, with people bustling about carrying bags filled with fresh produce and flowers. It's a wonderful spot for socializing, even for our canine friends - it's just so charming! You can find beautiful flowers, crafts, jewelry, fresh produce, and cheese. The market always features pleasant music playing in the background, creating a fantastic ambiance. And, of course, what's a market without a couple of food trucks.

This farmer's market is right by the water near Vinoy Park in St. Pete, Florida, where you can check out the views of Vinoy Park and the beautiful waterfront of the pier.

There's not just food trucks, there's fresh waffles being made. There is fresh Pizza and empanadas just to name some of the aromatic smells at this market.

It's not only about the food; there are also some fantastic booths offering jewelry, various crafts, and artwork.

We found several intriguing booths that I will share the links to individually. This way, when you visit the market next time, you can explore these booths!

There are a few links below where to park at the St. Pete's Saturday morning Market

This is for anyone who is a cocktail or a mocktail enthusiast! A cool idea and unique find!

Who loves fresh flowers! Any of the local farms at the market will have lots to choose from. I always look for the most vibrant colors in flowers. Their stems have to be strong and not broken or flimsy. Make sure the petals and leaves have no brown spots on them and as always make sure the flowers smell fresh. Not all flowers have a floral smell, but they should still have a fresh earthy smell to them.

When you get home place them in a vase of cold water, preferably at 36-40 degrees F. Don't forget to add your plant food!

Great watermelon radishes!

A great spot for some edible flowers and watermelon radishes! Wait till you see what I did with those!

On our adventures this morning went and had lunch at Cassis,https://cassisstpete.com/ one of our favoriter spots to eat. I had a beautiful Smoked Salmon open faced sandwich. This inspired me to make my own!

This is The Tarnished Apple's Open faced Smoked Salmon Sandwich!
