4 oz. of another mixed shredded cheddar cheese

1/2tsp. garlic salt

  • add softened cream cheese and melt into the rue on med-lo heat.

  • add milk and cream to the rue and whisk.

  • add the shredded cheeses and spices and whisk until smooth and cheesy.

  • set aside for the pasta.

For the Pasta Fusilli Capri :

  • 1lb. Fusilli Capri pasta

Because it is a big pasta it may take a little longer to cook.

Add the pasta to a large pot of salted boiling water and cook for 15 minutes or until aldonate.

Drain and place the pasta in a medium Pyrex dish.

add the cheesy sauce over top. Make sure the noodles are well incorporated into the cheesy sauce.

Panko Topping

2c. panko bread crumbs

1/4c. parmesan cheese

1 grated garlic clove

1/4 stick of butter

salt & pepper too taste

2 tbsp. freshly chopped basil

2 tbsp. freshly chopped flat leaf parsley

Directions:

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat add the butter to the pan.

  • add the grated garlic clove and stir the pan with the oil & butter.

  • add panko breadcrumbs, then add salt and pepper and fresh herbs and stir until the crumbs become a little brown and toasty.

  • With the buttery panko crumbs sprinkle some of them over top of the pasta and cheese sauce.

Pop the dish of pasta & cheesy sauce into the oven for 15 minutes@350 degrees F. until the dish is hot and melty!

It serves beautifully with my Roasted Roma Tomatoes!! will send the link.

For the adults this dish goes great with a little Pinot Grigio!

For this pasta if you have a World Market around your neighborhood, you can purchase it there. I have not seen it in local grocery stores either.

But any of your favorite pasta will do.
