Prep time: 5-10 min.
Cook time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
1c. Moscato grapes(whole)
1/4c. Pino Grigio white wine
1 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. granulated sugar
3 tbsp. water
Directions:
In a small sauté pan add the grapes to a low-medium heat. Add 3 tbsp. water, honey and add the wine.
Cook until the grapes start to soften.
Sprinkle a little sugar over the grapes
I used a Pino Grigio White Wine. You can also use a any other white wine that's not overly sweet .Moscato grapes have the taste of lychee and have a very floral notes to them. They almost taste like undeveloped wine, before fully bottled and preserved. (very nice). So adding the Pino Grigio wine is a nice touch.
Take a fork and slightly crush the softened grapes.
Stir the grapes until they are cooked down and the fluid is slightly thickened and glossy. There should be about 2-3 tbsp. of juice in the pan.
Take off the stove.
I spread my whipped feta on the little toasts and drizzled the caramelized grapes over with a little extra of the rendered grape juice. Absolutely delish!
